Barbell Basics
Learn how to move well
For most, this will be where we start. Our goal is to teach athletes to move safely with a barbell, how to train, and to teach the basic foundational movements: Snatch, Clean, Jerk, Squat, Press, and Pull.
The program is run every month. 4 weeks, 2 sessions per week.
This is a great option for athletes who want an introduction to barbell and strength sports, are newer to exercise in general, or for CrossfFitters trying to enhance their technical proficiency.
What to expect
We will learn the fundamental barbell movements: Squats, Presses, and Deadlifts. We will also teach all athletes to safely perform the Snatch, Clean, and Jerk.
The intention of this program is for graduates to be confident and competent enough to join the competitive weightlifting team..
You will receive personalized feedback, some video analysis of your movements, and expert level coaching to help you reach your goals.
